Diego Pacheco made a statement to the rest of the super middleweight division on Friday night when he knocked out Manuel Gallegos in the fourth round of their contest on Friday night.
Just like his win earlier this year against Jack Cullen, Pacheco took his time to work out and break down his opponent before landing the final blow in Mexico.
Throughout the contest, Pacheco targeted the body of Gallegos and with 30 seconds remaining in the fourth, Gallegos was knocked down and while he did rise, the referee had no choice but to stop the fight before the round's conclusion.
Speaking after the fight, Pacheco stated his desire to headline a fight night in his home city of Los Angeles.
"It’ll be a dream come true to headline in LA," Pacheco said.
"I keep putting in the work to get things like that come my way, and for it to be happening.
"Every time I fight in LA the fans come out and show me love, I haven’t fought there since 2019, so I know that it will be an amazing night."
