Ngannou is 0-2 in the ring so far.

Dillian Whyte made a damning comparison over Francis Ngannou’s boxing ability.

Ngannou fought Anthony Joshua last weekend in Saudi Arabia, and it was the Briton who won with a brutal second-round knockout.

It was much more one-sided than Ngannou’s previous clash, when he went toe-to-toe with WBC champion Tyson Fury last October, losing by a controversial split decision from the judges.

Fury will fight next on May 18 against Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title, live on DAZN PPV.

Speaking to Sky Sports , Whyte said that Ngnannou is a much more dangerous type of fighter for Fury than for Joshua.

"I think Tyson is always worried about punchers, or anyone that can knock him out, but the thing is, Tyson is nowhere near as raw as Ngannou is," said Whyte.

"As a professional world level boxer, it is kind of hard to take away anything from the fight because AJ has knocked out a massive puncher and a big guy but when you look at it strategically, from a boxing standpoint, there is nothing in it.”

However, Whyte thought that Ngannou was no better than a regional fighter, adding: "You are talking about a world champion fighting someone at 'Southern Area' level. If that's 'Southern Area' level? Because some of the heavyweights at 'Southern Area' would beat him."
