Matchroom Boxing revealed their first live shows of 2021 following the suspension of British events for the month of January.

Matchroom Boxing has announced several fight cards in February and March, live on DAZN in most countries.

It includes bouts that the promotion hoped to run in January, only for a return to strict COVID-19 protocols in the U.K., which forced the British Boxing Board of Control to suspend all shows for the entire month.

As revealed by Eddie Hearn earlier this week, the big rematch between Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin will finally go down on Mar. 6 now that the Russian — who stunned Whyte with a fifth-round uppercut KO after being routed and knocked down twice in the first four rounds — has made a full recovery from COVID-19.

Whyte vs. Povetkin 2, which "The Body Snatcher" must win to remain in the hunt for a world heavyweight championship, will be live on DAZN everywhere except for the U.K. and Ireland.

A co-feature bout will be confirmed in due course. The undercard features undefeated heavyweight prospect Fabio Wardley's next step up in levels as he takes on former world heavyweight title challenger Eric Molina, as well as the pro debut of the legendary Ricky Hatton's son Campbell.

Starting things off will be a card on Feb. 13 headlined by Josh Warrington vs. Mauricio Lara. The event will air on DAZN in all territories except for the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

On the undercard, Zelfa Barrett defends his IBF Intercontinental title against Spain's former super bantamweight world champion Kiko Martinez while rising super lightweight Dalton Smith takes on Lee Appleyard.

One week later, the anticipated showdown between David Avanesyan and Josh Kelly, which was scrapped from Jan. 30 by the BBBofC's ruling, will now occur on Feb. 20. That will also be live on DAZN everywhere except for the U.K, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

In chief support, unbeaten welterweights Florian Marku and Rylan Charlton will finally do battle. Plus, Anthony Fowler returns against Spain's Jorge Fortea while Amy Timlin and Carly Skelly rematch for the vacant Commonwealth super bantamweight title after their split draw in October.

On Mar. 20, Lawrence Okolie will get his big opportunity in a rescheduled showdown with Krzysztof Głowacki for the vacant WBO cruiserweight title. The two were set to do battle in chief support to Anthony Joshua's heavyweight title defense against Kubrat Pulev on Dec. 12. But Glowacki contracted the coronavirus. Okolie stayed on the card and hammered another Polish contender, Nikodem Jeżewski.

Also on that show, Chantelle Cameron makes the first defense of her WBC super-lightweight world title against Puerto Rico's Melissa Hernandez.

Finally, on Apr. 10, Conor Benn continues his push for world title glory at welterweight when he faces Canadian-Colombian fighter, Samuel Vargas. A rematch between Rachel Ball and Shannon Courtenay for the vacant WBA bantamweight title is also on the show.

Both the Okolie and Benn cards will be on DAZN everywhere except the U.K, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
