October 12 is set to be a huge day for the sport of boxing.
After years of waiting, Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will finally meet for the undisputed light heavyweight title in Riyadh, and it will be broadcast live on DAZN.
For Bivol this has been a long time coming after a long wait for his shot at the IBF, WBC and WBO light heavyweight champion, and you would think that the 33-year-old would be fully focused on the task at hand.

However, in a recent interview with The Stomping Ground, Bivol spoke about what could be the next step after his titanic showdown with Beterbiev.
“For me, belts are very important, more than anything, because I didn’t have these belts. Maybe when I have these belts, maybe I’ll change my mind," Bivol said.
“Since I came to boxing, I wanted to have all the collections of all the belts.
“I didn’t think too much about what’s going on after this fight.
“I need to listen to my body to decide what I want to do next after this fight, and then I can tell you.”
Bivol may not be looking too far ahead when it comes to his future, but one name which he has been linked with facing in the future is the current IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia who features on the same card, and it is a contest which interest Turki Alalshikh.
However, before a potential meeting between Bivol and Opetaia can be discussed, the two must first emerge from this weekend's card with wins over Beterbiev and Jack Massey respectively.
