Don King, a figure completely engulfed in boxing, has made his way over to the wrestling world ahead of MLW’s Slaughterhouse event on October 14.
The legendary fight promoter has helped guide the likes of Mike Tyson, Felix Trinidad, and Julio Cesar Chavez to the top of the boxing world and it doesn’t look like the 92-year-old is slowing down anytime soon.
It was revealed earlier this year that King was the financial backer of the Bomaye Fight Club and his wealth had helped Alex Kane obtain the top prize within MLW.
With Slaughterhouse just around the corner, Kane is preparing to defend his belt against Davey Boy Smith Jr. at the event and King has sent out some strong words to the former WWE superstar.
“I’m the man with the plan at Bomaye,” said King when appearing on a recent episode of MLW Fusion.
“Alex Kane and I just put pen to paper on this title fight. Watch it on Fite+, because I guarantee you will love what you see as Kane suplexes this fool to Suplex Island. Only in America. Bomaye.”
