Matchroom head Eddie Hearn backed Johnny Fisher to succeed in a British title clash.
The heavyweight moved onto a 12-0 record, with 11 knockouts, when he stopped his Croatian opponent Alen Babic in just 36 seconds in London last night.
Aged 25, Fisher is one of the most promising talents in the division in Britain, and his heavy-handed display over veteran Babic has impressed his promoter.
"This is one of the most special moments of my career and my life so far," Fisher said after the win.
Current British champion Fabio Wardley was watching from the sidelines, and has been mentioned now as a potential opponent for the “Romford Bull”.
Speaking about his fighter after the victory, Hearn made it clear he thought that Fisher would beat all comers.
"I would back [Fisher] against all the domestic heavyweights around the British title level," he said.
