Eddie Hearn believes that Dmitry Bivol is now the favourite to beat Zurdo Ramirez this November.
The pair fight on November 5 in Abu Dhabi live on DAZN (check for regions) and Hearn is proud of the card.
“It’s an amazing schedule,” he told DAZN of the fights to come for the rest of the year. “This card in Abu Dhabi is one of the best we’ve put together.
“Bivol-Ramirez, one of the fights of the year.”
He then predicted that as Bivol had established himself as one of the best fighters of any weight, it was his Mexican opponent who would go into the bout as the underdog.
“Before the victory over Canelo Alvarez, this was a real 50-50 fight,” he continued. “Now Bivol has cemented himself on the pound-for-pound list, I think he’s the slight favourite. But Ramirez looks huge, he’s in tremendous shape, former champion at 168lbs.
“It’s a great fight. The whole word should be looking forward to Zurdo vs. Bivol, it’s a true, elite match-up.”
