A huge fight will take place this summer.

Eddie Hearn recently announced a huge summer showdown in Britain as Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis will clash on August 24.

The bout will be the first boxing main event at Manchester’s new Co-op Live Arena, and it sees two former rivals of Josh Taylor go at it.

Catterall is eager to become a world champion and a win over the former belt holder could land him a huge opportunity in 2025.

Prograis wants to prove himself once more after losing to Devin Haney last year, and Hearn is delighted to get the fight over the line.

“It was literally 24 hours ago in a conversation with Regis Prograis, and he said, ‘I’ll fight Jack Catterall in England. I need a big win. I had a great fight with Josh Taylor there. Let’s do it,’” said Hearn when speaking to Matchroom Boxing

“We got the fight signed, and it’s a mega-fight for the division, and the card is going to be epic."
