A huge event in the world of boxing will take place in the Summer when Matchroom and Queensbery put five of their best fighters against each other in Saudi Arabia.
Set for the June 1 on the undercard of the undisputed light heavyweight title fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren will go head-to-head with some of the best names in their stable looking to secure the all important British boxing bragging rights.
The fighters and weight classes for this unique event are yet to be decided, but one which has been frequently mentioned is the light heavyweight division.
For Queensbery, it is likely that Anthony Yarde will be their respresentative at 175lbs, and Hearn told The DAZN Boxing Show which two fighters from the Matchroom stable who could go up against the two-time world title challenger.
"If you’re talking about the five vs. five and the light heavyweight division gets selected, I’m choosing Craig Richards or Callum Smith if he returns as well," Hean said.
"I guess Queensbery would select Anthony Yarde. For me I love Yarde vs. Richards, I think it’s a great fight.
"You saw Craig Richards push Joshua Buatsi very close in a great fight, he lost 115-113 to Dmitry Bivol. If he had a bit more confidence and started better in that fight he could have beat Bivol that night."
