Eddie Hearn has confirmed that he’s made an offer to Andy Ruiz to fight Derek Chisora.
The Matchroom chairman was a special guest on The DAZN Boxing Show and one of the topics of discussion was a potential fight between the heavyweight contenders.
Chisora has been encouraged by some within the boxing community to consider retiring from the sport, but the former world title challenger insists on fighting on.
His loss to Joseph Parker last December seemingly closed the door on any future title shots, but a win over Ruiz could easily open up one last opportunity.
“I made an offer last week to PBC,” said Hearn when speaking to Ak and Barak. “They wanted more money, which is what I expected. I’m gonna offer them more money. I think it’s a brilliant fight. I think it’s an all-action fight and we’re do what we can to bring Andy Ruiz to London for the Chisora fight.”
