Eddie Hearn told the DAZN Boxing Show that Kid Galahad will grow into his title status.

Matchroom head Eddie Hearn praised the ‘brilliant performance’ from Kid Galahad as he beat Jazza Dickens at Fight Camp.

Galahad emerged victorious with the previously vacant IBF featherweight title in his possession, and Hearn was full of praise for the 31-year-old, who has now signed with Matchroom.

“That was a brilliant performance. Sometimes in the past, he's been criticized about being not as entertaining as you'd like,” he told the DAZN Boxing Show.

“He's a tremendous fighter and a great thinker. But this fight, threw over 1,000 punches. You know, he didn't stop. He was relentless. He was spiteful. You know, after three or four rounds, I thought this could be a close fight, and he just went through the gears. awkward, but spiteful.

“As I said, his shot selection was fantastic. He slowly broke down Jazza Dickens. Respect to him, because he didn't stop trying.

“And this kid’s gonna be tough to beat me. He's gonna be really tough to beat because after you become world champion, and at that sort of level, confidence grows.”
