Eddie Hearn is looking to stage a stadium showdown between featherweight rivals, Leigh Wood, and Josh Warrington.
The pair have been linked to a fight for a number of years but results going against them has always thwarted the opportunity. At this moment, it looks like there's no obstacles that can get in the way of what could be a big domestic clash.
Wood recently regained his WBA world title from Mauricio Lara after sensationally being stopped by the Mexican earlier this year.
The Nottingham man wants to take a fight to the home of his local football club at the City Ground, and Warrington could be the ideal opponent to make such an event a real possibility.
“It’s down to Nottingham Football Club,” said Hearn when speaking to Matchroom Boxing shortly after Wood’s win against Lara.
“I don’t want to pass the buck, but ultimately if they can make it happen from a logistical point of view, we’d love to do that.
“Otabek Kholmatov is the [WBA] mandatory. I want to try and make the Josh Warrington fight. I think we can do that. I think we can turn that around reasonably quickly.”
