Eddie Hearn has once again spoken about the possibility of Conor Benn fighting Manny Pacquiao and this time he’s mentioned London as a possible location for the fight.
The welterweight fighter is eager to test himself against a big name and Pacquaio could be the man if a deal can be agreed.
Last week, the pair were spotted several times in Saudi Arabia during Anthony Joshua’s fight week with Francis Ngannou, and both sides have admitted to talks.
Pacquiao is inactive since losing to Yordenis Ugas in 2021, but Hearn is hopeful he can stage the bout depending on Benn’s appeal with the BBBC regarding an adverse finding in a drug test.
“Listen, we all want that fight, and obviously Manny flew in for talks and to watch the show in Saudi Arabia, so that’s what we’d like to do,” said Hearn when speaking to IFLTV.
“We’re waiting for the Conor Benn announcement from the appeal. We were told it was going to be in two weeks, and it’s now nearly four weeks, so we’ll be hearing about that appeal any day.
“It’s not in our hands, it’s in the hands of the Board and their decision will determine where Conor Benn’s next fight will be because, quite frankly, we could do Conor Benn versus Pacquiao in a stadium in London.”
