Eddie Hearn puts boxing's heavyweight division on notice about Anthony Joshua - 'He's back!'Matchroom
The Matchroom Boxing promoter didn't mince words about the former unified heavyweight champion of the world.

After watching Anthony Joshua destroy Otto Wallin with a resounding corner stoppage after the fifth round on Saturday, Eddie Hearn couldn't contain his excitement.

"He's back ... he's back!" Hearn told DAZN's Chris Mannix.

But right then and there, Hearn also used his mic time in Riyadh and to the world over to put boxing's heavyweight division on notice about Joshua.

"Ben Davison and the team told me this guy is back — 'he's destroying people in sparring, he's punching so hard.' I believe that this Anthony Joshua is the best heavyweight in the world," the Matchroom Boxing promoter declared.

"That was a punch-perfect performance tonight. Otto Wallin is an excellent heavyweight. [Joshua] absolutely dispatched him. He broke him down, he broke his nose, he broke him to the body, he broke his eye and it was just a stunning performance — one that says he's back."

And the impactful victory to end 2023 should set up an intriguing New Year for AJ as well, according to Hearn.

"In this mindset with this team, I think he's unbeatable and 2024 is going to be a massive year for him," Hearn vowed.

"He's a dangerous, dangerous man when he's in that kind of mood and 2024 is going to be very interesting. Every heavyweight should be on notice — he's back."
