Sunny Edwards will be remembered as somebody ready for the "biggest fights", believes Eddie Hearn, as the former IBF flyweight world champion retired from the ring.
The 28-year-old suffered a sixth-round stoppage loss to Galal Yafai for the interim WBC flyweight title at bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham on Saturday, for just a second career defeat.

Victory for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games gold medal winner saw Edwards outclassed throughout the bout, and he announced his retirement shortly afterwards on the canvas.
Speaking next to the fighter at a post-clash press conference, Matchroom boss Hearn praised him for a successful career and stressed he expects to see him remain in the sport.
"How will he be remembered? He'll be remembered," he said. "I think that's the best way to describe it. He's someone that wanted to take the biggest fights.
"I thought his interview in the ring was excellent. I think sometimes we take that for granted. He's a character, a personality, a fantastic pundit, and I think he's got a big future.
"We did four fights together. I think he made a lot of money and gave everybody great entertainment. I believe he's still got a big future in the sport."
Edwards has pivoted to non-ring roles over the past few years, and indicated he would love to stay involved outside of direct combat after hanging up his gloves.
He also paid tribute to Yafai, who he came through the Team GB ranks with, and will now likely line up a bid to become world champion outright in 2025.
