Eddie Hearn unveils the three names for Anthony Joshua following Jermaine Franklin testDAZN

Eddie Hearn has named Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder as the next opponent for Anthony Joshua if he gets past Jermaine Franklin on April 1.

Joshua returns to the ring next month as he aims to rebuild his career following back-to-back losses against Oleksandr Usyk and push towards regaining his world title.

Joshua must get past Franklin if he’s to secure a big fight, but despite focusing on his immediate task his promoter is looking ahead.

Joining Talksport for an eagerly anticipated discussion with Simon Jordan, Hearn was pushed on the topic of Joshua’s next move following Franklin, and he provided the names of Joshua’s heavyweight rivals.

“Joshua has three options if he beats Franklin – Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte,” said Hearn on Talksport

“People say, ‘you throw Dillian Whyte in there because that’s the one that’s going to happen,’ I mean that’s the easiest fight to make and I don’t think there is any disgrace, after the Usyk fights, going Franklin, Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder. That’s a hell of a 2023.”
