Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn created a buzz in the boxing world earlier this month when they agreed to stage a show that will see both promoters vie for glory against each other.
Each head of the company will pick five fighters and they’ll compete against each other with bragging rights going to the team that wins the most fights.
Since the huge announcement, boxing fans have taken to forums and social media to discuss a number of mouthwatering clashes.
Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury and Callum Smith vs. Anthony Yarde are two bouts that have figured prominently, but George Groves has identified a number of other fights that he’d like to see on the bill.
“Anthony Yarde and Craig Richards is a great fight. Nick Ball and Josh Warrington is another,” said Groves when speaking to Grosvenor Casinos.
“I don't think their prospects will want to fight each other, Moses Ituama, the heavyweight sensation - for what I hear and understand he's a force and going to the top - put him in with Fabio Wardley. Or Wardley versus Dubois.”
