Erickson Lubin: I'm not worried about Jermell Charlo right nowDAZN
The super welterweight is focusing on Jeison Rosario for now

Erickson Lubin is not concerned when people bring up the name Jermell Charlo to him four years after his defeat.

Junior middleweight champion Charlo administered a 2017 first-round knockout to Lubin when the pair met, and as the top-10 fighter has climbed up the ranking there has been talk of of a potential rematch.

Speaking on the DAZN Boxing Show ahead of his fight with Jeison Rosaria on June 26 for the WBC silver super welterweight title, he was asked what Charlo meant to him at the moment.

Lubin claimed simply to be focusing on the match-up at hand, saying: “Rosario is obviously the person that's in front of me right now. So Rosario is on my mind.”

He was later asked if he was starting to get worn down by people bringing up his name, and he denied that was the case.

“No, no, no, no, no, not really,” he explained.

“Not really, because of his motivation, man, his motivation that I went in so early and took a loss like that early in my career. But you know me, I'm just, I'm a competitive man. I bounce back. Five fights in a row.

“I'm on a five-fight win streak [that] I'm about to make a six on Saturday. And  you know, they can't deny me after that one. after I beat Rosario.”
