Errol Spence is so confident that Tony Harrison beats Tim Tszyu that he’s willing to place what appears to be a $10,000 wager on the Michigan man causing an upset.
It was announced last week that Harrison will travel to Australia to face Tszyu on March 12th in a fight that represents the toughest test of the Australian’s career to this point.
Tszyu was originally set to collide with Jermell Charlo this weekend with every belt at 154lbs on the line.
That fight was thwarted when Charlo endured an injury in camp and it’s likely that the bout will be rescheduled when the Texan recovers and as long as Tszyu deals with Harrison.
Spence, one of boxing’s leading fighters, isn’t so sure that Tszyu will emerge victorious.
Taking to social media, the welterweight world champion wrote, “I’ll bet 10 on a Tony Harrison upset,” on his personal Twitter account.
Tszyu will enter the fight a huge favourite so if Harrison does secure the win, he’s set to make Spence a hefty return.
