Ryan Garcia is backing Errol Spence to emerge victorious when he faces Terence Crawford later this month.
The newest member of Derrick James’ gym has been impressed with what he’s seen from his stablemate so far, and he’s confident he transfers that form into a huge win later this month with welterweight glory on the line.
Garcia made the move to Texas earlier this year after he was defeated by Gervonta Davis in April and he has the benefit of seeing Spence up close.
The Texan has a reputation for being a relentless fighter that slows down his opponents and that’s the performance Garcia expects when the pair clash next weekend.
“I feel that Errol is going to do what he does. He’s going to put that pressure on him, and he’s going to start getting to him in the later rounds,” said Garcia when speaking to Showtime.
“It’s going to be a good fight, but Spence is obviously going to win by a decision. I think by unanimous, but we’ll see. Terence is a bad man too, but I got Errol.”
