The announcement came a day after Mike Tyson's "I'm back" announcement.

Evander Holyfield is back. One day after Mike Tyson posted a workout video declaring he was back, Holyfield followed suit by posting a workout video Tuesday saying the same thing.

In a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday, Holyfield showed clips of his first week back working out in the gym. He was jump roping and throwing punches as he prepares to get back into the ring.

The exchange of workout videos has intensified the speculation of a third fight between Holyfield and Tyson. Holyfield expressed confidence in dealing with Tyson for the third time in an interview with The Sun.

"Yes, I want to fight Mike Tyson," Holyfield said. "My whole thing is I'm open, and I know that I want to do well for myself at age 57. I can definitely handle him, but Mike would have to want to do it as well."

Holyfield, who defeated Tyson twice during the 1990s, emphasized that a fight between the two heavyweight champions is not about who comes out on top.

"It's not about who can beat who, but to show people we were some of the greatest fighters in our era and we've come together as men to do something for others," Holyfield said. "I don't have anything against Mike personally, the thing is I think it would be good for the sport, and even though boxing is a rough sport, we can show people we can come together."

Holyfield believes that a bout with Tyson is the fight people would want to see after both fighters announced a comeback, but he understands that Tyson has likely received numerous offers to fight.

In an interview with TMZ Sunday, Holyfield said his preferred opponent would be Riddick Bowe, mainly as a result of their close friendship, but it doesn't rule out a third match with Tyson.
