Fabio Wardley has sparred many top names.

Fabio Wardley has sparred with all of the world’s leading heavyweights but who does the Ipswich man think hits the hardest?

The current British heavyweight champion has been in the ring with Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, and Anthony Joshua, but he says Dillian Whyte is the fighter with the most power he’s felt.

Wardley defends his Lonsdale belt later this month when he goes in with Frazer Clarke, and he’ll head into that bout fully prepared.

Wardley has often spent plenty of time grabbing vital experience against the leading fighters in his division, and he’s provided some details about what’s gone on behind closed doors.

“I’ve done Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Dillian Whyte, Oleksandr Usyk, Filip Hrgovic, Derek Chisora,” said Wardley when speaking to Talksport

“Like with Joshua I’ve only done maybe ten rounds in total, whereas with Hrgovic I spent about a month in Miami with him training. When you spend more time with someone there’s more opportunity for them to land some sweeter shots.

“But, the single time I’ve been hit the hardest is Dillian Whyte, I think. When he’s caught me with that quick check left hook a few times and it catches you by surprise.”
