Subriel Matias is ready to get back into the ring with Liam Paro, and he’s willing to take the fight in Australia.
The pair met earlier this month as Paro produced one of the biggest upsets of the year to become world champion in Puerto Rico.
Matias started the bout slowly and by the time he got going, he found himself many rounds down.
Despite a more spirited second half performance, he couldn't close the gap on the scorecards, but he’s ready to settle the score.
"If Eddie Hearn says look you need to go to Australia and have a rematch with Liam Paro, what I will do is I will knock out Liam Paro,” said Matias at the post-fight press conference.
“Do something I wasn't able to do this evening."
