Following last week’s altercation between Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather, Logan Paul, the younger brother of Jake who will face Mayweather this summer, has heightened security following threats from the former five weight world champion.
After having his cap stolen by Jake, Mayweather was angered as he chased Paul throughout a huge crowd who had gathered in Miami. With the Michigan fighter declaring “I’ll kill you,” as he frantically tried to retrieve his headwear, the YouTube stars have taken the threat seriously.
Speaking to TMZ, Logan said, "Dawg, when you have a guy with the resources and the wealth that Floyd Mayweather has and the connection and the network and he's saying s—, 'I'mma kill that motherf—er' -- kill?! Death?! You're gonna kill my brother over a f—ing hat?! Yo, we take that s— seriously man!"
Despite the lengths the Paul brothers are going to in the aim of protecting themselves with bodyguards watching them at all times, they are yet to file any complaints with law authorities.
Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe recently suggested that the 50-0 boxer could potentially sign up to face Jake, who has won three sideshow bouts so far, after his June 6 exhibition against Logan.
