Floyd Mayweather has announced his latest comeback bout.

Floyd Mayweather's post boxing tour continues as he heads to the Middle East to take on Don Moore in an exhibtion contest on May 14. Since retiring from boxing following a routine win over Conor McGregor, Mayweather has returned to the ring on several occasions, but none of these events have made it onto his official fight record. His last exhibtion saw him take on Logan Paul last summer.

When is the fight?

Floyd Mayweather vs. Don Moore will take place on May 14th, 2022, and will be staged at the Burj Al Arab hotel. The Dubai venue is one of the world's most prestigious hotels and its famous helipad is where the bout will take place.

Who is he fighting?

Don Moore was an average fighter who spent the bulk of his career padding his record against ordinary opposition. Despite boasting a respectable 18-0-1 record, not one of his opponents held a winning record. Moore was often used as a sparring partner by Mayweather and he also had the pleasure of Floyd's uncle, the late Roger Mayweather, training him on several occasions. Moore's last fight was in 2016 when he stopped DeShaun Williams.

Is it a real fight on Mayweather's record?

Mayweather vs. Don Moore will not appear on either fighter's official record. This is an exhibition, and like Mayweather's fight with Logan Paul, it won't be considered a contest by an official boxing commission. Mayweather's perfect 50-0 record is one of the finest ledger's ever compiled in boxing, and although still competing at an advanced age, the exhibtion status of his fights keeps his proud record intact.
