Floyd Mayweather takes part in another inevitably one-sided exhibition bout on Sunday June 6 against YouTube star Logan Paul, and the retired 50-0 boxing legend was understandably confident about the whole thing in a recent interview.
Mayweather's last 'official' professional boxing contest came in August 2017 when he stopped the UFC's Conor McGregor. And while McGregor was a boxing novice, the worthiness of Mayweather's opposition has plummeted even since then.
The American destroyed Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa on New Year's Eve 2018 in an exhibition, and is expected to do the same to Paul, who has fought twice against fellow streamer KSI to a draw and a defeat.
Mayweather admitted in a recent interview with Barstool Sports: "[I have] no strategy. I've just got to show up.
"If I want it to go one round, it'll go one round. If I want it to go two, [it'll go] two. It's all up to me."
Many expect Mayweather to overwhelm Paul quickly before moving on to another exhibition later this year against Logan's brother Jake Paul. Jake is 3-0 in the boxing ring, though his opponents — FIFA video game streamer AnEsonGib, retired NBA player Nate Robinson and former UFC grappler Ben Askren — are nothing compared to the multi-time world boxing champion who never lost a professional bout.
