Kubrat Pulev will receive an unlikely world title shot when he challenges Mahmoud Charr for the WBA regular belt next month.
The bout, which takes place on March 30, will see Pulev challenge for world honours for a third time after unsuccessful attempts against Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua.
Since losing to Joshua, Pulev has also come unstuck against Derek Chisora, but now he has the opportunity to breathe some life into his career once again.
Charr has suffered four defeats in his career, but he’s currently on a decent run stretching back to his last setback against Mairis Briedis in 2015.
Both men will be hoping that victory can land them an even bigger opportunity later in the year as the heavyweight division heats up.
