There will be one notable name absent from the unique event.

Boxing is set for a historic event on June 1 when Eddie Hearn's Matchroom and Frank Warren's Queensberry promotions go head-to-head in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Set to feature on the undercard of the undisputed light heavyweight title fight between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev, five fighters from each promotional stable will meet to claim British boxing bragging rights.

Last week the weight classes for each of the five contests were revealed and one of those selected was light heavyweight.

Fans immediately began to pick their fantasy matchups in this particular weight class and one which has been frequently mentioned is Anthony Yarde of Queensberry taking on Matchroom's former world super middleweight champion Callum Smith.

The two fighters have been linked to what would be a major domestic fight, but in a post on X, Callum Smith's brother, Paul Smith, ruled out the possibility of a meeting with Yarde and demanded that his coach Tunde Ajayi stopped mentioning Smith's name.

"He knows full well it's not happening anytime soon," Smith said.

"Callum gets married on June 1st. But it won't stop the fraud Tunde posting to stay relevant."

In addition to light heavyweight, there will be a featherweight and middleweight contest on the Matchroom vs. Queensberry card along with two fights at heavyweight.
