Andre Berto and Robert Guerrero are well acquainted with each other after sharing 12 tough rounds back in 2012.
11 years later, the former welterweight rivals, both ex-world champions, will collide again when they clash on December 16th on the undercard of David Morrell’s battle with Sena Agbeko.
In their first meeting, Guerrero dropped Berrtto in the early stages of the fight before winning wide on the scorecards in an entertaining contest.
Guerrero used the momentum to head immediately into a bout with Floyd Mayweather, but he was soundly beaten by the Las Vegas based boxer who won on points in 2013.
Two years later, Mayweather defeated Berto in an event that was set to be his last ever fight but he broke that promise to stop Conor McGregor in 2017.
Mayweather was too good for Berto as he dominated the Florida man.
