One fighter has boasted about his credentials.

Keith Thurman has the opportunity to reestablish himself as a major threat later this month when he goes in with Tim Tszyu at super-welterweight.

The bout, scheduled for March 30, will see the former welterweight star try and make a dent at 154lbs but he’ll face a stern test against the formidable Tim Tszyu.

Back in 2019, Thurman was hoping to become a mainstream star when he faced Manny Pacquiao, but he was dropped and outpointed in a terrific encounter.

The Florida fighter has endured lengthy spells of inactivity since, but he has the chance to return to the top with victory over the Australian.

“I believe boxing needs Keith Thurman,” said Thurman when speaking to TMZ

“I really deliver some of the greatest entertainment on that world-class scene every time they put me in the ring.”
