Chris Algieri has stated that Tyson Fury will have to be at his absolute peak if he’s to beat Oleksandr Usyk when the pair clash next month.
The pair will square off with undisputed glory on the line and it’s a fight that has the entire boxing industry split due to the quality of both men.
Last October, Fury struggled to get past Francis Ngannou as he climbed off the canvas to win a controversial split decision.
The performance has made some make Usyk a favourite and that’s prompted Algieri to insist that Fury must be ready for what he’s about to face.
“Anything less than a 100 per cent focused Tyson Fury loses to Oleksandr Usyk,” said Algieri when speaking to ProBox TV.
He added, “Usyk is basically the DJ Khaled of boxing – ‘All I do is win, win, win,’” referencing the 2010 hit from the Hip Hop DJ.
