The two heavyweights will clash this Spring.

Carl Froch can see exactly what Tyson Fury is doing as he bigs up Oleksandr Usyk ahead of their big showdown later this spring.

Fury and Usyk will finally lock horns in May in one of the most anticipated fights of the year, and in the build-up to the encounter, the Brit has been singing the praises of his opponent.

However, speaking to InstantCasinos.com, Froch says he can see right through Fury's charm offensive because he knows he'd be foolish to trash-talk the Ukrainian.

“I think if Fury tries to give Usyk too much stick, downplay his achievements and write him off as not being a heavyweight and not being a very good boxer, he's going to make himself look stupid. It's going to look ridiculous,' Froch said.

"So if Tyson Fury wants to say he's rubbish, he's this, he's that, he's a pumped up middleweight, he's not very good. He's just making himself look like an idiot.

“So he's got to give him some credit. And deep down, I think he knows he's in trouble. So he's got to give some respect where respect's due.

"But part of his game usually is to downplay his opponent, write him off, get inside his head, upset him in the ring. He did it to Klitschko through the whole fight from round one to round 12. He won't get away with that with Usyk. I think his bang in trouble, he's going to be in a really hard fight.”
