Former world heavyweight champion makes knockout prediction for Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr UsykDAZN

Former world heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman believes Oleksandr Usyk can knock out Tyson Fury if the two were to meet in an undisputed heavyweight title fight.

A fight between the pair was set for April 29, but negotiations between the two camps broke down and the contest never to came to fruition.

However, there is still hope a deal can be reached with Saudi Arabia looking like a possible destination for a Fury vs. Usyk bout.

Speaking to FightHype, Rahman was asked to give his prediction and claims that Fury's superior size will work against him.

“I think Usyk can beat him, I think Tyson Fury’s biggest advantage is that most heavyweights are really slow and he’s used to boxing against them," Rahman said.

"If you go against a boxer, kind of like Steve Cunningham, bad things can happen. I think Usyk is in his prime, I think he can beat Tyson Fury.

"Size would be an advantage with most heavyweights who stand in front of you, so Tyson can lean on and grab. But Usyk is not that type of boxer, he’s gonna make him do little spurts of boxing, make him do that the whole twelve rounds.

"And I think Tyson walking round almost 300 pounds gonna gas out. [He’ll] make him get exhausted and then probably knock him out.”

Rahman was responsible for one of the biggest upsets in heavyweight boxing when he knocked out Lennox Lewis in the fifth round to become the world heavyweight champion 22 years ago.
