Franchon Crews-Dezurn is looking to become world champion again when she competes for WBC honours on December 15 against Shadasia Green.
The American fighter, one of women's boxing most decorated fighters, lost her belts earlier this year when she was beaten by Savannah Marshall in Manchester.
The result hasn’t deterred Crews-Dezurn as it’s only served as a motivation to become a better boxer, and that starts against the unbeaten Green later this month.
With her immediate focus fully fixated on Green, Crews-Dezurn is only looking towards that fight, but she has admitted to giving MMA a shot, and has revealed that it’s definitely an option for the future after watching Claressa Shields perform in PFL
“Oh yeah, after I get this belt,” said Crews-Dezurn during an exclusive chat with DAZN.
“Of course. You have Claressa, you have Amanda [Serrano], you even have Savannah going over there. I’ve been putting in a lot of work over many years for an opportunity over there.
“I felt like I was MMA before there was MMA, before I started boxing.”
