Francis Ngannou is riding high after knocking out Jairzinho Rozenstruik in 20 seconds at UFC 249, and he thinks he could progress to demolish Dillian Whyte in either the boxing ring or the Octagon.
Ngannou said he would like a heavyweight boxing bout against Whyte. And Whyte said he's up for the challenge.
Ngannou touted his own versatility, indicating that while he would match up with Whyte in boxing, Whyte might not be willing to take part in a UFC skirmish.
"Yes, I would have a boxing match," Ngannou said to Sky Sports. "Whoever is possible and whenever is possible. The top heavyweights. ... I am always confident in my power. I have no doubts with my power."
Whyte (27-1) last boxed in December, defeating Mariusz Wach via unanimous decision. He's won 11 straight matches since falling to Anthony Joshua in 2015.
Ngannou's first boxing matchup choice would be Tyson Fury rather than Whyte, according to Sky.
