Frank Warren: Dillian Whyte 'in breach of' obligations for not promoting fight vs. Tyson FuryDAZN
The promoter was candid about what he expects from Whyte in the lead-up to the bout.

The Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte heavyweight title fight is fast approaching, with Frank Warren unhappy about Whyte's perceived lack of promotion for the April 23 bout.

Whyte was not present for the first press conference to promote the fight, and as of Wednesday had nothing pertaining to the event on his social media accounts. This has irked promoter Frank Warren, who told iFL TV that Whyte was not holding up his end of the pre-fight hype.

"He signed a contract back in February which gives him his obligations under that contract, and also gives us obligations," Warren said on Wednesday.

"And he's got certain obligations there to publicise and help promote the fight, and at the moment he's in breach of those [obligations], which is very, very disappointing."

When asked whether he's upset about Whyte's alleged lack of promotion in the build-up to the bout at Wembley Stadium, Warren didn't mince words.

"Of course I'm p—ed off with him," the promoter said.

"The bottom line is one thing, the other side is this is a historic event for British boxing, it's the biggest-ever grossing event, biggest gate ever.

"He should be part of it, he should be in there ... every other fight he's had he's attended the press conference for the fights, for the announcement of the fights he's put out tweets.

"He's put nothing out [for the fight vs. Fury]. Of course I'm p—ed off, what am I gonna be happy about that for? No one would be.

"I'm certainly not happy with him, why should I be?"
