Despite being Tyson Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren was left very impressed by Francis Ngannou’s performance against his man last weekend.
Ngannou was defeated via split decision and the unpopular verdict has become a major talking point in the boxing world after Ngannou dropped Fury and pushed him all the way.
Since the fight, Ngannou’s name has been linked to several leading names including Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.
Warren believes that Ngannou has what it takes to make an impact in the heavyweight division, and he’s already identified one fighter that the Frenchman would defeat.
“He’d beat Manuel Charr all day long; him and Joe Joyce would be a good fight,” said Warren when speaking to Metro.
