Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren have agreed to stage a show where each promoter will pick five fighters to represent their company with bragging rights going to whoever wins the most.
The pair have recently been working alongside each other delivering epic bills in the Middle East featuring huge names like Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.
At a press conference earlier this week to announce Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou’s heavyweight encounter on March 8, it was also touched on that Hearn and Warren would put some of their fighters against each other.
The fascinating concept has gathered pace and Warren has spoken further on the event.
“First of all, we have got to sort out the weights and what the weight divisions will be. We will work that out and then between us see who it is [that we want to pick]," said Warren when speaking to Mail Sport.
“The good thing about it, because there is five fights, there will be a winner. One of the teams will win, unless we get a draw, and to make it a little more spicy I would like to have a wager on it with him [Eddie Hearn] as well. [I will bet] a million pounds.”
Although Warren is extremely confident in his stable, a bet between the promtoters may not be allowed. Hearn and Jake Paul were prevented from gambling on the outcome of Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano due to rules that were in place.
