Tony Bellew believes that Gervonta Davis is pound for pound one of the biggest punchers in boxing.
Davis most recently fought at 140 pounds after moving up two weight divisions in order to take on, and defeat, Marrio Barros.
Bellew is one of DAZN’s new commentators, and told the DAZN Boxing Show that ‘Tank’ is one of the best boxers around now.
“I think he's outstanding. I think pound for pound is one of the biggest punches we’ve seen in the last decade,” he began.
“Unbelievable ferocious, vicious power.
“The thing that worries me about him is the weight classes and how far he wants to go and how much he wants to mess with these guys because I said this to Vasiliy Lomachenko when I spent time with him back here: I was fighting Usyk — what is wrong with a fighter, just reigning in one weight class?”
