Gervonta Davis targets Ryan Garcia fight, dismisses Devin HaneyDAZN
Gervonta Davis has Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney and Vasiliy Lomachenko in his sights after his fight with Leo Santa Cruz in October.

Gervonta Davis wants to follow up his first pay-per-view fight against Leo Santa Cruz with a match-up against Ryan Garcia, and he named two other potential opponents.

Davis (23-0, 22 KOs) will take on Santa Cruz on Oct. 24 on a Showtime PPV event, and if he wins the clash he is already planning his next move.

Garcia is just 22 years old but already has 20 fights to his name, winning 17 by knockout on the way to his undefeated record, and Davis noted the support he attracts.

Speaking to the "Last Stand Podcast" with Brian Custer, he said: “Ryan Garica is picking up a good crowd. He’s like an Oscar [De La Hoya] coming up, not as big as Oscar but he has a crowd.

“It’s good when you have somebody who has people behind him and you know where you’re trying to go, it’s good to bring that together. He’s a baby, but he’s got potential.“

While Garcia is one name he is interested in, he claimed that he would also want to face Devin Haney and Vasiliy Lomachenko further down the line.

Speaking of Lomachenko, he said:  "If we get past our guys that we got ahead of us, then we can make it rock.

“I think it's probably time. Definitely not this year. If not next year, then 2022. I believe at the beginning of 2022 we can make it happen."

After being on the receiving end of some barbs from Haney of late, Davis accused the 21-year-old of speaking out in order to garner some attention

“Do I look like I would duck a Devin Haney?” Davis asked before dismissing the WBC lightweight champion.

“He’s a clout baby. He’s looking for the clout.”
