It didn't seem like there was much on it, but that just goes to show you how powerful of a puncher Gervonta 'Tank' Davis is.
Davis delivered a short, left-handed liver punch, which made Ryan Garcia take a knee seconds after it landed. Seconds later, Garcia was counted out and 'Tank' recorded the seventh-round KO to remain undefeated before a raucous crowd at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and live on DAZN.
"I'm definitely the face of boxing," Davis told Jim Gray, "abso-f—ing—lutely."
Garcia (23-1, 19 KOs), who tasted defeat for the first time, said of the KO: "He just caught me with a good shot and I couldn't recover."
Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) had dropped Garcia back in the second round, too, when 'King Ry' swung and missed on a left hook and 'Tank' deposited him on the canvas with a left hook of his own upstairs.
Garcia had some success landing right hands in the sixth round, before Davis took the air out of him with that seventh-round liver punch, ending the bout and increasing his star power that much more.
Garcia said he's moving up to 140 pounds during the post-fight press conference.
Here's how the entire main fight card went.
