Ginjiro Shigeoka makes his first defence of the IBF world minimumweight title today, taking on ArAr Andales in Nagoya.
Shigeoka won the belt from Daniel Valladares in October after their first bout, 10 months earlier, was declared a no contest.
The 24-year-old now takes on a fighter in Andales that has fought to three draws over his past four bouts. Andales was also last in the ring in October, when he took on Wilfredo Mendez in one of those aforementioned draws.
