After securing three back-to-back wins this year, Harlem Eubank is looking to push on with his career in 2024.
Following his eleventh round stoppage win over Timo Schwarzkopf earlier this month, Eubank then went onto call out Conor Benn who has previously been linked with a fight against Harlem's cousin, Chris Eubank Jr.
A fight between Benn and Eubank Jr. has been rumoured to take place early next year, but with some rumours that talks are beginning to stall, Harlem Eubank could be a worthy replacement.
However, if Eubank is to press ahead with a fight against Benn, he wants the latter to obtain a British Boxing Board of Control licence.
"I think it has to be under the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC). They're the standard bearers. They're the ones that laid the foundations for all the champions that came before us," Eubank told Express Sport when asked whether he would be interested in a fight with Benn not sanctioned by the British board.
"If it's not through them then it is irrelevant. So, that's number one, get your license with the boxing board of control back and until then there is no moving forward with it."
Despite having his provisional suspension with UKAD lifted after an adverse finding in a drugs test, Benn is yet to obtain a BBBofC licence after the governing body appealed the ruling.
The hearing for the appeal is yet to take place, but some are expecting a verdict to be reached at the start of next year.
