After calling out Gervonta "Tank" Davis following his win over Javier Fortuna last Saturday on DAZN, fans are clamouring for Ryan Garcia to face one of boxing's most powerful punchers next.
However, Jake Paul's next opponent, Hasim Rahman Jr., is not confident Garcia can beat Davis if the two were to meet later this year.
"Good night Ryan," Rahman Jr. told The DAZN Boxing Show when asked to give a prediciton.
"I think Tank is too fast, too strong, too smart, for Ryan Garcia.
"Ryan Garcia will do good early, which a lot of Tank’s opponents do good early, but I think Tank has the ultimate equaliser."
While Rahman Jr. gave some praise to Garcia after his performance against Fortuna, the 31-year-old believes that the young American star will never be ready to face "Tank".
"He [Ryan Garcia] dominated the fight," Rahman Jr. said when asked to give a verdict on Garcia's win.
"But like I said Javier Fortuna is no Tank Davis, it’s not out of the realms for people to get excited after a knockout victory like that.
"I don’t think Ryan Garcia is ready for Tank, nor do I think he ever will be."
