Heavyweight contender insists he'll never fight KSIDAZN

Hasim Rahman Jr has many targets in the crossover boxing world, but KSI isn’t one of them.

The son of former world heavyweight champion, Rahman Sr, the young fighter was plunged into the spotlight last year when he was set to face Jake Paul.

With that fight eventually getting postponed over weight issues, Rahman Jr has moved on with his career and is now featuring on Misfits events thanks to KSI.

Next weekend, the latest instalment of MF & DAZN: X Series heads to Nasville, Tennessee, and it will be screened exclusively by DAZN.

The show features an intriguing clash as Rahman Jr will test himself against Alan Belcher, a former UFC star and bareknuckle fighter.

If successful, Rahman Jr will aim high in his following contest but one man not on his list is KSI.

“I would never fight KSI,” said Rahman Jr when speaking exclusively with DAZN days before his next encounter.

“He didn’t have to do what he did. He gave me an opportunity to be part of his lane and offered me a home at Misfits. Then I got to train with him and see how cool of a guy he actually is.

“I just have a massive amount of respect for him. If it wasn’t for him then I wouldn’t be in this space I’m in right now. I couldn’t punch with him for money. It’s bigger than money. You couldn’t pay me enough money to punch on a person like that.”
