Francis Ngannou may have lost against Tyson Fury when the pair met last year, but the former MMA star has emerged with huge credit since the bout ended.
Ngannou dropped Fury in the fight’s third round before he narrowly lost on the scorecards and now he heads into another huge fight on March 8 when he faces Anthony Joshua.
After the Fury battle, Ngannou’s name was linked to numerous fighters as he pushed the WBC champion so close.
After landing a contest with Joshua, another huge operator at heavyweight, Ngannou is in a positive mood and isn’t at all down following the result of his boxing debut.
"I mean, I won. Look at me now. Look at my life. Look at where I was when you think I lost,” said Ngannou when speaking on the High Performance Podcast.
“You think because some foolish judges make some decision, that changes anything in my life?”
