Hughie Fury is ready to resume his heavyweight mission and insists he will stop both Anthony Johsua and Deontay Wilder.
The former world title challenger has not fought since the end of 2021 when he beat Christian Hammer but that hasn’t stopped the cousin of Tyson Fury from aiming high when he eventually returns.
The business end of the heavyweight division is constantly linking Tyson to Oleksandr Usyk and Wilder to Joshua, but Fury claims he is more than ready to join that mix.
Despite losses to Joseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin, and Kubrat Pulev, Fury’s confidence hasn’t diminished and he’s once again ready to take on big names.
Speaking to BBTV regarding Wilder, Fury said, "I'd knock him out. I'm not here to play games anymore. People don't understand. I've had a bit of rest, I've filled out, I'm now 19/20 stone.”
On Joshua, he added, "Knockout. Big stiff. Honestly, I don't believe that these people are capable of beating me. I truly believe that if these fights happen, I've had my experience, I've had my falls now and I'm going to show it."
