Here's how Terence Crawford reacted to Jaron Ennis calling him outDAZN
"Bud" had thoughts about "Boots" and Eddie Hearn.

Jaron Ennis had just finished dismantling David Avanesyan by TKO at the end of the fifth round Saturday night — a round quicker than Terence Crawford managed in his own sixth-round knockout of the Armenian fighter back in December 2022.

And when DAZN's Chris Mannix evoked Crawford's name for a possible fight, "Boots" Ennis handled the rest.

"Most definitely, let's make it happen," said the IBF welterweight world champion about clashing with Crawford. "That's what I want. I want the big names, Terence Crawford, anybody in that weight that gotta big name, let's get it."

Moments later, Ennis' promoter Eddie Hearn declared "the future for 'Boots' Ennis is the future of boxing," adding "I think he beats everyone" and that Ennis is a "special fighter that needs to be tested against the best in the world."

Well, Crawford, the former undisputed welterweight world champion who will be challenging for Israil Madrimov's WBC junior middleweight world title on August 3, live on DAZN, had something to say about that assertion.

Crawford, the top pound-for-pound fighter on many critics' lists, also laughed off a fan vowing that "Bud" won't fight "Boots."
