"I am a problem" says Carlos Takam ahead of upcoming Joe Joyce clash

"I am a problem" says Carlos Takam ahead of upcoming Joe Joyce clashDAZN
Carlos Takam had some menacing words for Joe Joyce after landing in London for heavyweight battle.

Joe Joyce has been handed a stern warning by Carlos Takam.

The former world title challenger arrived in England earlier this week ahead of his showdown with Joyce on July 24th and he’s hoping to make a bigger impact this time around compared to previous visits.

The Frenchman’s previous trips to Britain have seen him come unstuck in losing efforts against Anthony Joshua and Derek Chisora.

The well-travelled veteran is used to competing at the high end of the heavyweight division and he’s promising to make his mark against the 2016 Olympic silver medallist.

"He said he is going to run me over?" said the 40-year-old when arriving at Heathrow Airport. "I say good luck and I will see you on 24th July.

“I don't think he is experienced enough to take out someone like me and this is going to be a big fight for him.

"I don't want to say it is a small fight or an easy fight because every fight I treat the same. I am here because I am prepared and ready for this fight and I am coming to win.

“Everybody says he is a tough guy so I am here and ready for that. Joe Joyce, I am ready for you and I am a problem.”
