Chris Eubank Jr impressed on Saturday's undercard for Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol.
He was going up against Kamil Szeremeta, and there was no doubt Eubank Jr had to make a statement.
Eubank Jr did just that, knockdowns in rounds one and round six, followed by two more in round seven saw the referee stop the fight.
One interested party ringside was Conor Benn, who after the stoppage was called, stormed the ring to push and confront Eubank Jr after the pair clashed earlier this week.
After the result was made official, Eubank Jr and Benn engaged in verbal sparring with the pair seemingly agreeing to a fight next year.
"This is the fight everyone wants to see, I like that," Eubank Jr said.
"I want you next."
Benn then replied, "I’m so scared, you think after that performance you think I’m worried.
"I’ll jump up two weight divisions!"
Eubank Jr and Benn were set to meet in October 2022, however, an adverse finding in drugs test for Benn resulted in the bout being cancelled.
With Benn's future regarding fighting under a British Boxing Board of Control licence set to be clarified over the next couple of weeks, this will determine whether one of the biggest fights in British boxing can be made sooner rather than later.
